1. Introduction & Agreement to Terms

Welcome to ServiceFind. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ServiceFind website, our mobile applications, and any phone-based or online services that connect users with independent home-service professionals (collectively, the "Platform" or "Service").

By accessing, browsing, or using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using our website and services.

2. Who May Use the Service

Our Service is strictly intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction. The Platform is primarily directed towards United States residents and homeowners.

By using the Platform to request home services, you represent and warrant that you possess the legal authority to enter into agreements regarding the property in question—either as the property owner or an authorized decision-maker for the property.

3. Description of the ServiceFind Platform

ServiceFind operates an online and telephone-based matching service. We simplify the process of home improvement by connecting homeowners and residents with independent, local home-service professionals, contractors, and companies (referred to as "Pros").

It is important to understand that ServiceFind is exclusively a connector. We do not perform any home services ourselves. We are not a party to the contract or agreement formed between you and the Pro. Any quotes, scheduling, warranties, and the actual execution of the job are strictly between you and the hired Pro.

4. Marketplace Role, No Warranties for Third-Party Work

All Pros operating within the ServiceFind network are independent sellers and contractors. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of ServiceFind.

Because we do not oversee or perform the work, ServiceFind does not guarantee the quality, timing, pricing, or outcomes of any services provided by the Pros. We are not responsible or liable for any acts, errors, omissions, or negligence of any service provider you hire.

While we strive to match you with reputable providers, it is solely your responsibility to verify the Pro's state and local licensing, insurance coverage, bonding, and overall suitability before finalizing any hiring decision or signing a contract.

5. User Accounts & Information

Whether you create a formal account or simply submit a service request via our forms or call center, you agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete contact and project information. Providing false information (such as fake phone numbers or misleading project scopes) disrupts our network and violates these Terms.

If you are provided with login credentials, you are responsible for keeping your account details secure and are liable for all activities that occur under your account.

6. Permitted & Prohibited Uses

Acceptable Use: You may use our Platform solely for personal, non-commercial purposes to request home services, compare Pro options, and communicate with the ServiceFind team or matched Pros.

Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activities.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Attempt to hack, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our website infrastructure.
• Post, transmit, or share any content that is abusive, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise illegal.
• Use the platform to generate fake leads or harass our service providers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if we suspect you are engaging in any prohibited uses.

7. Quotes, Estimates & Payments

Any quotes or price estimates provided through our Platform, over the phone, or via preliminary communication with a Pro are strictly estimates based on the initial information you provided. Final pricing is determined exclusively by the independent Pro and is subject to change based on a thorough on-site evaluation of your project.

Payments: In the vast majority of cases, you will pay the Pro directly for their services according to their billing terms. If ServiceFind facilitates any payment processing features in specific verticals, it is done simply as a convenience. ServiceFind is not responsible for resolving financial disputes, refund requests, or payment disagreements between you and the independent provider.

8. Reviews, Feedback & User Content

If our Platform allows you to leave reviews, ratings, or feedback regarding your experience with a matched Pro, you agree that your submissions will be honest, accurate, and based entirely on your personal, firsthand experience.

You may not post fake, defamatory, misleading, or incentivized reviews. By submitting feedback or content to our site, you grant ServiceFind a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce, and use your feedback in our marketing materials, either individually or in an aggregated format.

9. Intellectual Property

All content present on the ServiceFind website—including text, logos, graphics, layout, code, and images—is owned by or licensed to ServiceFind and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.

You may only use the site and its content for your personal, non-commercial home-service needs. You are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, distributing, or creating derivative works from our site content without our express prior written permission.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

Our Platform may contain links to external, third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by ServiceFind. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or business practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that ServiceFind shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your reliance on any third-party content.

11. Privacy & Cookies

Your privacy is important to us. All personal information you provide to us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in that policy.

Additionally, we may utilize cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance site performance and analyze user behavior, as described in detail within the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers

"AS IS" Basis: The ServiceFind Platform and all associated services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the site content, nor do we guarantee the suitability, reliability, or timeliness of any Pro you connect with through our service. Any educational content or home-repair guides provided on our site are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ServiceFind, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, property damage, or personal injury arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or the services rendered by any independent Pro.

If we are found liable for any direct damages under any legal theory, our total cumulative liability shall be capped at a reasonable and legally permissible minimum, typically not exceeding the amount of fees (if any) you paid directly to ServiceFind in the twelve months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ServiceFind, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your misuse of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions and agreements with any third-party service provider.

15. Happiness / Satisfaction References

ServiceFind operates with a strong "Happiness" orientation. If a job booked and paid through a connection made on our platform does not meet your expectations, we want to hear from you. We will make a good-faith effort to help mediate the concern and, in some circumstances, may help arrange for another Pro for a future booking.

Please note that this orientation is a customer service ethos and a good-faith effort, not a legally binding warranty, insurance policy, or guarantee of the Pro's workmanship.

16. Changes to the Service & Terms

ServiceFind reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website, features, or available services at any time without prior notice.

Furthermore, we may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements. We encourage you to review these Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Termination / Suspension

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the ServiceFind Platform, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or abuse of our service providers.

18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and your use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable state and federal laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

In the event of a dispute between you and ServiceFind, we strongly encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution. Any unresolved disputes related to these Terms or the Platform may need to be resolved in appropriate courts of jurisdiction or via binding arbitration, depending on the specific nature of the claim.

19. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by ServiceFind, constitute the entire agreement between you and ServiceFind regarding your use of the Platform.
